For the final project of the “Programming Usable Interfaces” course at Carnegie Mellon, I designed and coded a simulator that will take inputs of the varying states of the aperture and shutter speed to simulate the picture being taken. From there, the user can learn how cameras function on a traditional DSLR camera.

Reflection

This was a good challenge of taking a concept and executing it using JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. This was my towards the beginning of my exposure to these languages and it resulted in a pretty cool project! I used a couple APIs to modify the design as well as checked it for web accessibility by using the WAVE accessibility tester.
